Annual gifts of all sizes provide Emory the ongoing resources that are crucial to its growth and success as a world-class institution. Donors touch lives every day with gifts that support academics, research, patient care, scholarship, and service to others. At Emory, researchers, faculty, physicians, and students ask bold questions and seek new ways of doing things. The generosity of annual donors makes this extraordinary work possible across the disciplines.
In the last fiscal year, annual gifts provided more than $2 million in scholarships to Emory School of Medicine students, endowed scholarships at Rollins School of Public Health, and afforded scholarship support to hundreds of students at Candler School of Theology, Goizueta Business School, Emory College, and Emory Law.
Annual support from alumni, parents, friends, students, faculty, and staff helped fund service trips for students at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, build and restore facilities on Oxford College’s historic campus, and establish an endowment for Volunteer Emory, one of the Emory’s largest and most influential service-learning programs.
Gifts to Emory Healthcare allowed hospital and clinical leadership to invest in strategic priorities throughout the year and helped the Carlyle Fraser Heart Center remain among the best in the nation. Ongoing gifts helped the Michael C. Carlos Museum connect scientific research with art conservation and the Emory Libraries acquire unique additions to the Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library.
